I studied illustration at the Kent Institute of Art & Design. I have found that with ceramics I have another form of visual art where I can show my love of detail. I enjoy the beautiful colours that can be attained with glazes, including the happy accidents that sometimes produce an effective and unexpected result. All the pieces are individually designed, hand thrown, ball shapes are slip cast, then decorated using tube lining and finally all hand painted.
